Shirley A. Scott, Author

Shirley Scott and her husband, Ray, share ten acres with their two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie.
Jack came to live with the Scotts because his former owners were moving and could not take him along. Jack followed Shirley constantly and seemed very lonely, so they adopted Dobbie from a pet rescue organization.
Dobbie had been abused by his former owners, and had many behavior problems and insecurities. Shirley & Ray knew it would take a great deal of patience and love for Dobbie to adjust to proper care.
Shirley and Ray were also faced with not knowing if Jack and Dobbie would be compatible with each other in the long term. As it turned out, Dobbie was the perfect playmate for Jack, and the Chihuahuas have brought the Scotts much joy.
The author is writing this book series to share with others the natural interaction and often amusing antics of the two newest “members” of her family.
